Youth Leadership Application Deadline is Monday, January 30

Posted on Jan 13 2017 - 5:53am

Our bi-annual youth leader elections are coming up on Monday, February 13. If you need and are interested in a leadership position, view the attached .PDF document summarizing the many leadership positions that are available. Prior to the formal election, you need to decide if you want to put your name on the ballot for one of the elected positions (Senior Patrol Leader or Patrol Leader) or if you want to be considered for one of the appointed positions (Asst. SPL, Quartermaster, Scribe, Webmaster, etc.).

I ask that each boy that needs a leadership position for advancement take a few minutes to review the various positions and decide if you are interested in one of them. Next, discuss it with your parents. If you are interested, complete the position application form (page 2), have your parent(s) read and sign it and turn a paper copy in to me by the January 30 troop meeting. A paper copy of the application is both needed and appreciated.
