Movie Night on Monday!

Posted on Jun 14 2016 - 7:06pm

This Monday's troop meeting is Movie Night.  We will be watching "White Fang", a Disney movie about a boy in Alaska searching for a gold mine and a wolf who becomes a close companion (Rated PG).  Because of the length of the movie, we need to start the movie (and troop meeting) earlier than normal.  The movie will begin at 6:30 pm.  The movie/meeting will end at 8:30 pm.  We will have hotdogs, drinks, and popcorn.  Wear your class B.

Ice Cream Social this Monday

Posted on Jun 10 2016 - 8:11am

June is national ice cream month so we need to make the most of it!  We will be having an ice cream social during the troop meeting so come and enjoy.

Summer Camp Signup started

Posted on Mar 27 2016 - 7:52pm
It's time to start preparing for SUMMER CAMP 2016!  This year Troop 841 is going to Camp Alexander located in the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains.  Camp Alexander is approximately 45 miles west of the city of Colorado Springs, nestled among scenic hills, streams, and lakes with abundant wildlife.  Scouts will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of programs, ranging from aquatics to shooting sports, from nature to mountain hiking, from rock climbing to the trail to first class, including earning merit badges.  Colorado is a beautiful state and each scout will undoubtedly enjoy advancing their scouting careers in such a scenic area with supportive camp staff and adult leaders.

The dates of Summer Camp are June 25 - July 2.  We will depart St. Ann's around 5:30 pm June 25 (on a chartered bus) and arrive at Camp Alexander for check-in on June 26. We will ride through the night stopping occasionally to switch drivers and re-fuel. Its a pretty exciting bus ride and we watch movies until around midnight.  For the return trip, we will board the bus after the closing ceremony on Friday evening (the 1st), drive through the night and stop for breakfast the next morning. We will arrive back at St. Ann at approximately 2:00 pm on July 2
